"Off-the-Grid" Independence
The Bushfire Protect fire suppression system can operate completely standalone without the need for any externally supplied power or water. During wildfires both power and water services are often lost leaving fire suppression systems and fire hydrants ineffective with no water pressure or power. Wildfires can present imminent danger forcing occupants to obey mandatory evacuation orders often leaving no time to do anything but escape. During an evacuation, pets are especially vulnerable as their natural instinct is to retreat to a secure hiding place that can be difficult to locate or coerce them to leave. The Bushfire Pro system operates in your absence under it's own power and dedicated water source, greatly reducing the risk of fire damage both before the fire arrives and long after the fire storm has passed through.
Intelligent Auto Start
The Bushfire Protect system can automatically start and operate without the need for any human intervention. Most wildfire suppression systems activate at the first sign of a fire or smoke. As a result, these systems require a large amount of water to be effective and often deplete the water storage before the real firestorm has arrived. The Bushfire Protect system employs an intelligent automatic start feature that will periodically douse the property in pre-programmed cycles. Ember attack will initially activate the system which is linked to sensors which can differentiate between embers and flame attack. Embers may arrive much earlier than the main fire, so Bushfire Pro will activate on the arrival of ember attack and then stop when the area has been doused sufficiently. It will continue these cycles until the arrival of the fire galvanizes it into non-stop action for maximum protection.
Environmental Fire Suppressant
Mixed into the water at the pump, this concentrated polymer drammatically increases the cooling capacity of water, while being environmentally friendly and safe to handle.
First Line of Defense
A separate water circuit can be installed at the outer edge of the property and can provide additional support in mitigating the effect of the fire before it reaches the building.
Attic Protection
Homes can be lost to wildfires from the entry of burning materials into the roof attic. The attic can be protected by micro sprinklers connected to the main pipe system that is installed inside the house.
